• Cylinder (CYL): Represents astigmatism. It is preceded by either a minus (-) or plus (+) sign.
• Axis: Corresponds to the orientation of astigmatism and is measured in degrees.
• Addition (ADD): Required for multifocal lenses, such as bifocals or progressives. It is usually the same for both eyes.
• Pupillary Distance (PD): The distance between your pupils, measured in millimeters. This measurement ensures the correct alignment of your lenses with your eyes.

2. Obtaining Your Prescription:
